Born in Maryland into a career Navy family, Mr. Joynton graduated from high school in New Orleans. He has practiced law in San Angelo since 1978. From 1987 until his retirement in 2021, he was Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate Law. Mr. Joynton is a member of the Order of the Coif. He has been active in civic and charitable organizations and in Southland Baptist Church, and serves on the board of Texas Bank.
The firm’s estate planning and probate practice encompasses wills, trusts, estates, guardianships, family business organizations, marital property agreements, and estate and gift tax planning and controversies. Mr. Joynton also has experience with organizing business entities, income tax, and real property transactions.
