Mr. Davis was born and raised in Midland, Texas.

After studying Russian and Polish at university, including in both the USSR and Poland, Mr. Davis graduated from Texas A&M University, summa cum laude with a degree in Modern Languages. He completed Baylor Law School, and was admitted to practice law in 1984. Since that time, he has lived and worked in San Angelo.

Mr. Davis’ legal practice over the years has involved significant work in real estate, including purchases and sales of rural land, and the assistance landowners in energy related matters, including negotiating and drafting surface damage agreements, easements, and leases.

For many years Mr. Davis has represented financial institutions, including banks and credit unions. His work has included the preparation of loan documentation, collections, foreclosures, bankruptcy, litigation, loan work-outs and responding to day-to-day questions.

In addition, he was helped business clients in the negotiation and drafting of business agreements, as well in their commercial collection efforts.

Mr. Davis has been active in the community, serving on various charitable boards, including Hospice of San Angelo, the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, CASA, and the West Texas A & M Club.
